Study programmes at Belgrade Metropolitan University are:
- • Bachelor level: 3 years (6 semester) and 4 years programmes (8 semesters). During three years Bachelor studies, students earn 180 ECTS. Within four years long study programmes, students earn 240 ECTS.
- • Master level: one year study programmes (two semesters) with average of 60 ECTS.
- • Doctoral level: three year study programmes with Total of 180 ECTS.
The studies are organized according to the Bologna Principles, with one-semester courses, taking into account the total student work load is 40 hours work per week, expressed through the ECTS. 1ECTS is equal to 30 hours of total student activity. Average number of credit per semester is 30 ECTS.
A programme consists of core and elective courses offered to all students. The study program is conducted through various forms of theoretical and practical teaching (lectures, group and individual exercises), study research work, assignments, colloquia, knowledge tests, projects, exams. The teaching material consists multimedia online lectures and exercises, provided by the BMU e-Learning System. A programme is carried out by using the following modes of study: traditional face-to-face (F2F), online (e-learning) and blended-learning (flipped classroom). Regardless of the mode of studies, all students used online multimedia learning materials, developed by BMU teaching staff and, of course, recommended textbooks and other references.
All programmes have a final, capstone project and get a diploma of an appropriate degree, after successful presentation of their capstone project.
